Participated in the first "China Powder Industry Hundred People Forum" and published a key technology research report

From June 11 to 13, 2024, Guangzhou held the first "China Powder Industry Hundred People Forum", jointly initiated by the Powder Technology Branch of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association and the Powder Circle Platform. The forum focused on "Powder Technology Accelerates China's Manufacturing Industry", involving topics such as the integration of the powder industry with the national economy and the new energy industry chain, as well as safe production and environmental protection.

Dr. Chen Jundong of Mianyang Liuneng was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a report on "Research on Key Technologies for the Preparation of New Energy Battery Material Powders". He focused on the technologies pioneered by Mianyang Liuneng and implemented on a large scale in industrialization: steam kinetic mill and controlled crushing technology. The steam kinetic mill uses superheated steam as the crushing power to achieve efficient crushing and drying functions. For example, in the crushing of calcined coke, the single machine output reaches 5t/h (d50=7μm), and can dry lithium carbonate with a water content of 10% to 0.02% moisture. The controlled pulverization technology uses a unique airflow control structure to achieve controllable adjustment of the pulverization intensity. The yield rate of ternary materials after sintering is 100%, and it can be used for non-destructive depolymerization of agglomerated powder materials. These technological innovations will add new impetus to the development of China's powder industry.
